Returning for it's 12th year The Christmas Light Show is a spectacular Christmas display that has become a family tradition at the Jersey Shore.

History of the Show

The Christmas Light Show display began in 2005 when Daniel Brateris, then an electrical and computer engineering student and owner of mobile disc jockey company dj Dan, thought a display of Christmas light using his company’s dance and theater equipment would bring Christmas spirit to the neighbors.  He enlisted the help of his brother Brian and good friend Matt Pinnella. Matt’s parents generously donated their house on Paynters Road in Wall Township. After countless nights of programming in the freezing cold, The Christmas Light Show display was born. This show entertained the immediate neighborhood and close friends and family.

Dan, Brian, and Matt knew they were had something very special, so they looked for a more suitable location. They envisioned the community gathered together for the Christmas season in celebration of Advent. Eventually, high school friend, Ryan Epp said his father would stage the display on his house. For the next 5 years This Christmas Light Show was displayed at the Epp Family’s home on Patrick Place in Wall Township. Close friends Trevor Ferguson, Mike Roberti, Wyatt Ferguson, David Lippman, and Nancy Haberstick, added their talents to the crew and have been crucial in its formation year after year.  Brian, a local physical therapist, selected RallyCap Sports (Formally Challenged Youth Sports) as our charity because of its Monmouth County location, valuable contributions to the local youth in need of their services, and their ability to funnel every dollar donated to their charitable mission. Special volunteers, Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus members of RallyCap Sports join the celebration on most nights.

In 2010, the Epp Family built a new home on Woolley Rd, in the same neighborhood now the present location of The Christmas Light Show. Set on top of a hill behind an enormous apple orchard it is the perfect place for this incredible display. Dan Howell, digital content designer  and a small crew of collection and  service volunteers joined the founders at this new location. Each of the volunteers bring a unique set of skills essential to the evenings of celebration.
Over the years the show continues to attract families and individuals who wish to celebrate the light of Christmas together.

As the scope of the show increased, Atlanticus Innovations LLC, an engineering and show design company, took over as the producer and operator of the event. Atlanticus Innovations now operates and runs the event. All individuals involved with the show volunteer their time to assist Atlanticus Innovations in producing a low cost, high production value, charitable event.

In 2018, Daniel Brateris, Brian Brateris, and Trevor Ferguson, formed Raising4 Inc. I non-profit focused on running events to raise funds for other charities. In 2018, Raising4 Inc. ran a scaled down version of the show for a small and intimate audience at the Woolley Road location.

In 2019, Raising4 Inc. excitedly moved the show to "The All New McCanns" in Wall Township.
